Comprehensive Level 3 Course Objective:
• Learn to perform and teach the advanced exercises for Mat, Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Barrels, Chairs and Endings as well as auxiliary exercises for sand bag, Ped-o-Pul, towel, and jump board.
• Develop the ability to teach Advanced Full Session Lessons with smart progression and guide progression. • Learn how to lead challenging group chair classes. • Gain understanding of the anatomy and kinesiology of the lower body.
• Prepare to work with common lower body issues. • Advance teaching skills and deepen the ability to prioritize corrections, select touch and cues, guide movement quality, and plan progression.
• Expand understanding of progression with case studies.
• Benefit from personalized coaching on live courses aimed at accelerating learning and enhancing practical skills.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of Levels I and II. Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications recommended.
Registering: We highly recommend registering for each module a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the live module scheduled date. There is a considerable amount of required online homework that will not be repeated during the live modules. These assignments are required to be completed in order to be eligible for assessment in Module 3
Module 1: Explores performing and teaching the Advanced Level Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, foot corrector, and sand bag exercises. Gain a richer understanding of the practical anatomy of the lower body, correctional cueing, and touch techniques to aide in progression.
