Peak Pilates® Classical Level III Instructor Certification Module 1

Description

The Peak Pilates® Level III Comprehensive Instructor Certification Program prepares the instructor to perform and teach the advanced exercises for Mat, Reformer, Cadillac/Tower, Barrels, Chairs, and Ped-o-Pul as well as auxiliary exercises for foot corrector, sand bag, towel, and jump board. Teachers will enrich the ability to guide movement quality and progression, selectively prioritize corrections, and prepare to teach students with common knee and hip issues. This last leg of the comprehensive certification is covered over a minimum of 3 months with 3 live training modules meeting approximately 1 month apart. You are required to complete all 3 modules and successfully test out no later than 1 year from the start date of your live Level III Module 1.

Level III Module 1 focuses on Advanced Level Mat, Reformer, Cadillac, foot corrector, and sand bag. Gain a richer understanding of the practical anatomy of the lower body, correctional cueing, and touch techniques to aide in progression.

· Advanced Dynamic Mat, Advanced Full Session and Group Chair Challenge workout videos

Course Prerequisites:

· Successful completion of Levels I and II

· Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications recommended

Registration: We highly recommend registering at least 4 weeks prior to the live training workshop to allow ample time for the required assignments and practice activities. The material covered in these assignments will not be repeated during the workshop, and they must be completed in order to be eligible for assessment in Module 3.
